What You Need To Know As A Client Of Nails By Samantha During the Coronavirus Outbreak

What will be required of you as a client of Nails By Samantha

  • Please do not book an appointment with me if you or anyone you live with is self-isolating or displaying symptoms of Covid-19.

  • If you, anyone in your household, or anyone who has visited your household in the 7 days before your appointment are exhibiting cold or flu symptoms, please contact me to rearrange.

  • If you have signed the Nails By Samantha Client Form over 2 days before your appointment, I will send you a text message or phone call the day before your appointment and ask you to answer the following questions: Have you had the recent onset of a new continuous cough? Do you have a high temperature? Have you noticed a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell? If you answer yes to any of these questions, we will need to re-arrange your appointment.

  • Please wear a face covering during your treatment. You may provide your own or I have disposable masks available to purchase for £1.

  • Please ensure the area where you would like me to carry out your treatment is well ventilated. For example, having a window or door open to allow fresh air into the room.

  • You will be required to wash your hands and/or feet with soap and water before your treatment begins and then sanitise them with the sanitiser I will provide.

  • Please keep at a 2 metre distance until I am ready to begin your treatment.

  • Please ensure that no other member of your household is in the room during your appointment. If this is not possible, (i.e. in the case of a dependant), then please ensure they remain 2 metres away.

  • I kindly ask that you keep contact with your personal belongings to a minimum during your appointment, and please do not touch any of my equipment unless you are asked to.

  • Please ensure I have a clear non-contact route from the entrance to your house to where you would like me to do your treatment.

What I will do to keep you as safe as possible during every appointment

  • If I or someone who has been in my house has experienced cold or flu symptoms in the past seven days, I will contact you to re-arrange your appointment.

  • On arrival at your house, I will be wearing my face mask. I will put on the rest of my PPE which consists of gloves, apron and face visor, once I have set my equipment up and am about to begin your treatment.

  • After I have set up, i will use hand sanitiser on my gloves and I will sanitise your hands and/or feet depending on your treatment.

  • During your treatment, anything to be disposed of will be put in a plastic bag in a drawer in my desk.

  • After the treatment and payment are complete, I will commence cleaning. Metal tools will be cleaned, disinfected and dried with sanitising and disinfecting wipes, then placed in a clean pouch. My desk and every piece of equipment used will be wiped with a disinfectant wipe before being packed away. Any files or brushes which cannot be cleaned with disinfectant spray or wipes will be stored separately for cleaning later at my house.

  • The disposable file and buffer I use on you can either be kept by you or put in the rubbish bag. I will dispose of my PPE and any other disposable items from your treatment off of your premises.
