COVID-19 POLICY

What will be required of you

  • Please do not book an appointment with me if you or anyone you live with is self-isolating or displaying symptoms of Covid-19.

  • If you, anyone in your household, or anyone who has visited your household in the 7 days before your appointment are exhibiting cold or flu symptoms, please contact me to rearrange.

  • If you have signed this form over 2 days before your appointment, I will send you a text message or phone call the day before your appointment and ask you to answer the following questions: Have you had the recent onset of a new continuous cough? Do you have a high temperature? Have you noticed a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell? If you answer yes to any of these questions, we will need to re-arrange your appointment.

  • I will bring my own small table and stool so all you will need to provide is a seat for youself and a suitable space for your treatment. A suitable space will have good ventilation but must be away from sunlight as UV rays from the sun can affect gel nail products. For example, a room where a window or outside door can be left open but blinds or curtains can be closed. 

  • I encourage you to wear a face covering during your treatment.

  • You will be required to wash your hands and/or feet with soap and water before your treatment begins and then sanitise them with the sanitiser I will provide.

  • Please keep at a 2 metre distance until I am ready to begin your treatment.

  • If possible, please ensure other members of your household remain 2 metres away also.

  • I kindly ask that you keep contact with your personal belongings to a minimum during your appointment, and please do not touch any of my equipment unless you are asked to.

  • Please ensure I have a clear non-contact route from the entrance to your house to where you would like me to do your treatment.

What I will do to keep you as safe as possible during every appointment

  • If I or someone who has been in my house has experienced cold or flu symptoms in the past seven days, I will contact you to re-arrange your appointment.

  • If I am required to self-isolate, I will contact you as soon as possible to re-arrange your appointment.

  • On arrival at your house, I will be wearing my face mask. I will keep this on for the duration of your treatment and usually until I have left your house.

  • During your treatment, anything to be disposed of will be put in a plastic bag in a drawer in my desk.

  • After the treatment and payment are complete, I will commence cleaning. Metal tools will be cleaned, disinfected and dried with sanitising and disinfecting wipes, then placed in a clean bag. My desk will be wiped with a disinfectant wipe before being packed away. Any files or brushes which cannot be cleaned with disinfectant spray or wipes will be stored separately for cleaning later at my house.

  • The disposable file and buffer I use on you can either be kept by you or put in the rubbish bag. I will dispose of my PPE and any other disposable items from your treatment off of your premises.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • You are required to give 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or re-arrange your appointment. Failure to do so may incur a 50% charge of the cost of your treatment.
